My girls are still my "kids!"

They got $5 Walmart gift cards from my SIL for Easter! They were eager to go to Walmart to spend them! What did they buy? Bubbles, a big bubble wand, a hula hoop, and sidewalk chalk! LOL! At 13 and 15, they aren't that far from being "grown up!" Yet, they wanted kid stuff for Easter!

Today, we had a nice day, for spring in WI, anyway. They played with the bubbles for a long time! They were going to play with the sidewalk chalk, but then DH took Sarah out driving. It never happened again, after that.

Bubbles are FUN, even for adults!

BTW, DH's sister is moving from AR to WI next week.

Ditto! I put bubbles in my kids' Easter baskets for years, even into adolescence for Jen, because she liked them so much.

I'm glad they still wanted kid stuff! Although, maybe it's a good thing that they didn't get to draw pictures on the driveway. It's supposed to rain later today, and they would get washed away already!

I blew bubbles and filled our cement with sidwalk chalk drawings TODAY, lol! I usually do this every few days with my kids outside now that the weather is nice. I never want to grow up, lol!

I put bubbles in my kids baskets every years. Oldest is 15. I got bubbles in my basket every year until I moved out (sister 11 years younger than I am). I also put traditional things in stockings every year (life savers book to name one thing). My mom did the very same thing. I love traditions and I love bubbles.....

Cool. I never thought of putting bubble in their easter baskets! That is a cool idea! Bubbles are always fun!
