At church last night my 4 yo kept staring at this older gentleman behind us, he was wearing a suit and had the older 60's style black glasses. Finally he leaned over and whispered "Look mama, it's Superman" ;)

LOL that is adorable!

Can i share what my little guy said at church this morning?
He was cranky because he had to actully sit in mass instead of going downstairs to Sunday School. So he kept saying "this place stinks" I got him to not say that of course. He was very good till the end of mass. He kept saying "mommy, i want to go hooome!" I told him that after this song is over Father would say a prayer and then we will go home, to which he replied "this song stinks" and then he bumped is head on the pew. He was tryiing so hard not to cry and got even crankier and said "church people are bad!" I don't know if it is funny to anyone else but i thought it was pretty funny. Of course i don't want him to say stuff like that, but it just made me smile for some reason. Luckily he was only saying it loud enough for me to hear.

Actually I totally relate. Last Tuesday we did stations of the cross, then Thursday we did washing of the feet. My older boys were needed to do stations of the cross again at a nursing home on friday. So I am getting the 4yo ready to go again and he asked "where we goin", I told him church, he said "OH NO mama no church" Broke my heart and he had been so good at church up to that point and actually he made it through holy week w/ flying colors including the 2 hour vigil mass. I was really proud of him.
