Jann, we actually painted OVER the wallpaper! I'm a pro at it now! It looked really good! I painted it with 2 coats of Kilz primer (oil based) and then it only needed one coat of Behr paint in a light yellow color. I don't recommend it if it's your own house, but it's good if you just want to "move" a house!

And, I wish we were making a lot of money on it. Whatever money we are making we have to pay it right back to Scott's parents. They helped us with the sale of the house we are in now.

Shoot..I have done the same thing in my kitchen/breakfast room and one of my baths. I think it looks great and it sure beats tearing down 20 year old wallpaper!

WE CLOSED ON IT TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE! I've been gone for about a week, putting some more work into it. Phew. Glad it's all over.
