It's Emily's 13th birthday today! She was hoping for no snow on the ground for her spring birthday, but Mother Nature didn't cooperate. She is settling for large patches of grass without snow on them! That is the best we can do, since we still have plenty of snow on the ground! Although, one part of my yard is more snow-free than it has been all winter!

A lot of our snow is melted but we're supposed to get more tonight. Boo hoo!

Thanks, everyone! We have to pick up a cake from the store, this morning. She wanted Care Bears, because you got two little Care Figurines that you get to keep.

Before she went to school, she still didn't know what she wanted for supper. The last few years, I have made fish, since fish is her favorite meal! She didn't want that this year, though.

Fortunately for her, her birthday falls on a Wednesday. The school district here, planned Wednesday for teacher meetings, so everyone gets out a little earlier on Wednesdays, so a little less school on her birthday!

The other days go longer, to make up for less school on Wed. (oh yeah, and once in a while, we forget it's WEd and pick the kids up late! LOL!)
