Is Cinderella's Royal Table worth it?

Anyone done this? How old were your kids? Was it worth it? Did they enjoy it? Was it just as nice to simply line up in Toontown and have the kids meet the Princesses that way? Which Princesses showed up at your meal? Thanks!!

We've never been, but I never bothered to try to get a reservation because DD is not into the princess scene. We went to a character meal at the Contemporary and had a great time. No Cinderella, but Mickey & Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy, and others were there. My kids were fine with that. LOL!

I haven't done it, but heard from friends it is wonderful and definitely worth it! You get more time with the princesses in this setting than in Toontown.

We did this breakfast a few years ago. It was definitely worth ir for our family. We saw all of the princesses there...thank goodness Sleeping Beauty showed up at the last minute since that was the ONLY princess my then 4 year old dd wanted to see! LOL
If we hadn't of done the breakfast we wouldn't have seen one! There were none to be found throughout the park, except in a parade, the day we went. The girls even had all of them sigh their autographs and we have the sheet of paper framed.

I have boys, so I don't know first hand. But, my BIL and SIL did it with my 3 yr. old niece. She loves the princesses. They said it was well worth it. They got lots of pictures and she got to spend more time with them.

Don't know about the Princess thing, but a former co-worker with two sons took them to the Pirates Adventure show in Disney Orlando, and they loved it. She said it was worth every penny.

If you check the disboards there is a whole thread dedicated to just this breakfast in the Restaurant section. You can also find out who has been showing up at the breakfast by checking the boards. We did not do the breakfast when we were there because we wanted to get to the rides early in the morning(while the lines are low) and no one (including my DH) had any patience for sitting down to breakfast. Instead we went to the character dinner at the Grand Floridian. The girls loved it (it was Winnie the Pooh when we went, but now it is Cinderella characters) We are definitely planning on doing this dinner when we go. We got an early time for priority seating and we had a ton of time to spend with all of the characters.

There is a restaurant at Epcot that does the Princess Breakfast. We did it because Cinderella's was booked. It was incredible and my DD was in heaven. By chance she got to be "Princess for the Day" and wear the cape and crown and use the magic wand to open the doors and have Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) seat us at the Princess table. All of the princesses were there and they spent a lot of time at every table.

My DD was lucky enough to get a certificate saying she was the Princess and they each signed it for her. They each spent a lot of time at our table talking to her and making sure she had everything she wanted for breakfast.

Everyone at the tables around us looked very pleased with the amount of time their kids got to spend with the princesses. I highly recommend this if Cinderella is booked. If you need any more info let me know and I'll pull out our stuff and let you know!!!

We had the breakfast at Cape May Cafe. It was supposed to be Pluto, Chip or Dale and Goofy. We ended up with Chip (or Dale, who knows?LOL) Minnie Mouse and Goofy! DD was THRILLED to meet Minnie and Goofy (we never did meet the chipmunk).

We didn't even bother with the Cinderella's Royal Table. It was much too expensive for a breakfast neither of the kids would end up eating. Of course the price is to meet princesses, not to eat the food. My dd would have loved it, she is "A princess" but like i said, it was to expensive for us.

I really was no help at all, was I?

Just know that either way, your kids will have a blast! and so will you!

I tried for 3 months to get reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table for any meal and never got them. The biggest thing my then 3 yo dd wanted was to meet Cinderella. We got to Disney World at about 10:15 and rode one ride (it was the week before Easter last year so it took forever) and then strode over to the castle to see if we might chance into reservations. Some lady walked out and announced that there were no reservations for any meal open that day at the castle but the ladies at the desk might be able to book another place for anyone in line. Everybody in line in front of me walked away. I stepped up, asked for help making reservations somewhere in the park for a character meal. That same lady who'd made the previous announcement asked how many were in my party and if they were all here RIGHT now. I told her just 3 for lunch. She took dh, dd, and me in to the grand entrance which was empty at this point except for us and there sat CINDERELLA on her throne!!! I was so excited and dd freaked and started to cry, hid her head in my shoulder and wouldn't even look at her. I sat next to Cinderella on the throne and dh made our picture. Then we went up and had lunch. It was very quaint, Cinderella made her royal rounds greeting guests. The butter was in the shape of the pumpkin when it was a coach. And it got better from there. Disney just does everything up so well.
Bottom line--if you have little girls that are into princesses and can afford it (lunch is a little pricey but not bad), it is so worth it. Even though dd freaked when face to face with Cinderella, she had a great time. And if not Cinderella's Royal table, then one of the character meals. It's alot of fun.

We went a year ago Easter and you couldn't get to the characters without standing in a line for an hour or more which wasn't worth it with a 3 yo.

It seems that the characters don't wander the park anymore. You have to get into a line and wait like you would a ride. You can't even see the character up ahead while you stand in line.

We did get to meet Belle after Belle's storytime. DD didn't freak after that. She actually shook her hand.

If you have a princess girl I would think it would be worth it, since this post I have been looking and we decided to take the girls in a few years when the baby is older. I couldn't imagine not doing it, they will remember it forever (if they love princesses like my girls) and I looke dat the price and it's not that bad. Adults ~ 21.99 children under 11 ~ 11.99. And it is all you can eat, and they get to see the princesses. I don't know that's just my opinion. :)
