I saw this on the news last night. They don't know if he did it or not, but they wanted to question him because not only was he in the area, but with the case of this crime, "During a burglary in 1978, he was accused of grabbing a girl in her bedroom, placing his hand over her mouth and kissing her", the family was home when this happened. Hopefully, he is the guy so they can find this poor child and hopefully, if she is alive, return her to her family, and if she is not, then she can have a proper barrial.

That's sad I hope they find her soon. :(

By Rayanne on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 06:29 pm:

Well, I just heard on the news that this guy is the man that took her and he also admitted to taking her life. I am tears right now and I am so angry!!!!! How could he do this to such a little girl!! WHY?!?!?

By My2cuties on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 06:44 pm:

That is so horrible, Police: Suspect Admits Killing Fla. Girl

I wonder WHY?! too. This is heartbreaking!

By Colette on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 06:55 pm:

He should have been shot the first time he assaulted someone and this never would have happened. That poor family.

By Rayanne on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 07:02 pm:

I agree Colette.

By Jelygu on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 07:47 pm:

How horrible. People can be so SICK!

By Kernkate on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 11:01 pm:

That is so sad:( That is why I believe there should be stricter punishment for sexual offenders.

By Feona on Saturday, March 19, 2005 - 06:17 am:

What a waste. You can see the crimes he did and how this could be predicted... almost...

By Palmbchprincess on Saturday, March 19, 2005 - 10:12 am:

Many prayers are going out to this family.

I cannot believe that she was right across the street from where she lived.

By My2cuties on Saturday, March 19, 2005 - 04:15 pm:

unbelieveable! I still cannot understand why... this bugs me to no end.

By Wandilu on Saturday, March 19, 2005 - 06:33 pm:

Did they ever say how the little girl was abducted? They said there was no sign of forced entry, and apparently everyone in the house was asleep.Wonder how he got in there and abducted her without anyone hearing. So sad,and so scarry.

I have been venting about this to my friends all day. This makes me sick. It is a proven fact that a child molester can't be rehabilitated. As far as I have ever seen anyway. More times than not these people always molest again. So why in the world are all these sickos being let out of prison after serveing less time than drug offenders that can be rehabilitated. I think if you hurt a child in that way you should never be let out of prison. Any sex offender should be put away for life if you ask me. I am just very irrate about this and better end this post cuz I will end up getting in trouble for all the 4 letter words that I am about to type.

I can`t even comment on this with out getting angry. There are sick sick people in the world that we live in.
He needs to be locked up and the key thrown a way.
I could think of much worse punishment,
I am sure we all could.

By Colette on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 - 06:42 am:

He needs an acid bath.

I wish there was a federal law that made it a mandatory death sentence for child predators. My heart broke this morning when I read about Samantha Runnion, and how they got the dna from her tears in the suspects car.

By Meltonmom on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 - 09:43 am:

Well, I am in GA and I may get blasted for this one but I really believe that if a person is charged, arrested, booked, on trial and proven guility of an offense against a child, that person, once found guilty by due process, should be convicted and put to death.

I just can't see probation...rehabilitation....parole...eduation...plus it is my taxpayer money feeding, clothing and meeting the medical needs of prisoners who are capable of these kinds of acts.

I read somewhere a long time ago that it takes 18,000 a year to house, feed, clothe and meet the medical needs of each prisoner in federal prison. At the time I read it, it was the early 1990's and my husband and I were very poor. We earned only 15,000 a year and the figure stuck out in my head because a prisoner was better off financially than we were! (at the time).....

I just think that for some folks: rapists, child offenders, murderers, crimes where a victim is horribly tramatized, or tortued or killed. The perpetrator should be put to death.

I have been balling all day, Dh told me that he heard on the radio that they checked her and found out that she had been molested. My dad (in florida) also says that he was high on drugs the whole time so we may never really know from him what he did. I cannot stand it, I couldn't even drive, it was like if it happened to my own child. I cannot talk about it anymore.:(

Death penalty is too easy, they need to torture him! I believe he will get what's coming to him in jail, or at least I hope so.
