I got airline tickets from Norfolk to FtLauderdale(My parents live there)for 106$ roundtrip..Ive never seen such a low price before, EVER..We are going June 17-26, so its definitely a peak sesaon type of thing. Actually the tickets were 101$plus a 5$ processing fee.
I had an e-mail this morning about "Farewatchers".where they let you know if a flight has gone down in price. I was pleasantly surprised/shocked on the price. But, I called them directly got the special fare and we are good to go.

Me too! We are flying Southwest. We checked into the really cheap flights they are advertising to FL for several weeks from now and they are already booked!

We had been flying into Miami on American and last week DH started booking on Southwest. The tickets on Delta for this weekend were over $1000 each!!!!!

The problem we have with this situation is not being able to plan in advance. It's a week to week thing. :-(

Karen-yes you a dealing with a hard situation when buying these airline tickets.I can understand why things are booked up now as its spring break for one part of the country or another.
