A Little Survey

I'm just curious, how many moms out there are pregnant?

How far along are you and when are you due?

Do you want to know the sex?

How are you feeling?

How many other children do you have and what are their ages?

Do you have any worries or concerns about bringing a new baby home?

I'm not sure how far along I am, I have my first ultrasound next week, but I think I'm due in September. I'm not sure about knowing the sex, but the doctor said by the heartbeat it could be a girl. So far I'm feeling fine, not sick just really tired. I need my two hour nap in the afternoon.

I have one child who is almost 1 year and I'm a little worried about having a second, but I know many moms have done this before me and that it will probably all work out fine.

I would love to hear your thoughts.

Me, I am 31 weeks ~ due on May 15th. I feel great! (now that I am not sick anymore , which lasted the first 4 months). I have 2 other children, Katelyn is 3 1/2 and Hailey will be 2 in June. I think I worried more with my second than I am worried now. This time I am believeing that Katelyn will be a real big help playing with Hailey and occupying her while I handle the baby.

I got pregnant with Hailey really close to Katelyn's 1st birthday (I found out by way of home pregnancy test a few days before her party, but didn't tell anyone til later)

With this one I got pregnant when Hailey was a little older than 1. But we are not going to have anymore, we wanted to have them all together and then get to the fun part of raising them, playing with them, teaching them, etc. :):) and they can grow up together!

I am probably looking at this whole children thing from a different perspective than alot of people, because I was the baby and my sister's hated me. My middle sister tried to kill me, when I was a baby she stuffed me under the bed and when my mom found me I was blue. Therefore I try very hard to make all my children feel special. We all do things together and I do not let my parents/grandparents pick favorites. They have to take turns. Be sure and let us know how far along you are when you find out. :)

Wow, 31 weeks - it won't be long now! Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl? Happy to hear you are feeling great. I wasn't sick for the 1st one and I'm not sick now - thank goodness.

I can't believe your sister tried to kill you, really? Did you watch Nanny 911 last night? A 10 year old girl held a pillow over her 4 year old brother until he wet himself. I couldn't believe that they were just rolling the camera and no one stopped it. Do you have a good relationship with your sister now? Hope so :).

Take care and keep me updated on your pregnancy.

lol, yeah we get along fine, she just didn't like the idea of having a new baby in the house. We are having our last girl, although I wouldn't be totally upset if it turned out to be a boy.:)

I am 32 weeks, due May 11th. I'm feeling pretty good now. Other than pelvic pain. I was sick up until about 25 weeks, so it's much easier now.

They say we're having a girl! LOL I keep having dreams where the baby comes out a boy!

I have one son, Kolby, he'll be 4 in June. He's very excited about the baby. We'll show how his opinion changed once the baby actually gets here.

I am pretty nervous about handling two. But, I figure, lots of people of have done it, so it must not be too hard. Plus, my I'm sure my mom will be over a lot in the beginning to help-she lives across the street.

Not pregnant here...LOL But i do remember how you are feeling when I was due with number 2. Let me assure you, your love muliplies not divides. Things are different with 2, but once you get in the flow it is great. It is just a completely different experience, you don't always have to be the entertainer, you don't have to search out play dates, because you always have one. You do have to conquer and divide sometimes, but it is okay.

I am a lot like Candis. I raise my kids as 1 of 3, they are each equally special and I go out of my way to let them know that. We do most things as a big group, but I do spend one on one time with them regularly (when i was pg my doc said 1 hour a day alone with each child, i cried, I knew I couldn't do that). I think the key to having more than one is realizing that they each have their own gifts. My oldest, my only dd is my shopper and girly girl, we do all girl stuff when we are together. My middle son, he is my hugger, he loves to be hugged and gives hugs, he likes to wrestle and play rough, football, bikes, etc. He is also very smart, so he likes to be challenged, when i am making something with a recipe he is right there with me. My youngest is mr creative, if you need entertained, he is the man. To sum him up best the chritmas when he was 3 all he wanted for Christmas from santa was tape, lots of tape. ROFL.

My children didn't have real issues with a new baby, mosty because we talked about how fun it was, how nice it was, how special they were, what an important job they would have, etc. Then we bought a gift from the baby they got at the hospital, and then they were part of picking out the coming home outfit. For my dd this part thrilled her, my hubby took them out she was 4 with my youngest, he spent over 100 bucks because she wanted every little accesory!

A lot like
