way to relax? Mine is to take a steaming hot bath and read a book. This rarely happens, but I had such a bad day today that I ignored the housework, and as soon as Christopher went to I started the bath. I didn't read a book, I just thought about things.

How do you relax? and how often?

A bath is mine as well, with some good jazz and a glass of red wine! That gives me an idea! LOL! If I have the money- which is not often- I love to get pedicures!

A hot bath!! what else is there?! :) Dh usually will wash my back and then rub my feet with lotion afterwards so it is a very nice time. :) I usually have this time to myself at least once a week.

I sing. Scales, arpeggios, vocalise, then arias - the higher and faster the better. Afterward, I feel great and every ounce of tension is gone.

Alone time on the computer. Just browsing at whatever I feel like.

Just finished my alone time... A hot bath, glass of wine, and a good book. Now I'm heading to bed totally relaxed! Night night!

Mmm...a cuddle on the couch under a chenille throw, good book, quiet music, cup of tea and my crocheting. It's getting late! Sounds like a good idea.

Being on the computer when everyone else is asleep, like right now! (Although, it's freezing in the basement, so I probably won't be here long. We turn the heat down at night, so once the furnace doesn't blow anymore. Brrr. I do have a space heater, but it's not enough.)

a late night, steaming hot bath with lots of candles, bubble bath and salts, a good book, and a bath pillow (i say late night because everyone is sleeping and it's soooo peaceful and quiet). it's been awhile since i've had one of those. my brother and his wife moved in with us recently and since the bathtub is in the main bathroom (which it seems is always occupied at any given part of the day!!!), i'm just kinda out of luck. :(

Laying in bed and watching tv. I have Tivo, and record so many of my favorites. I love when I have quiet time to lay there and watch tv, and have nobody bother me :)

a walk on the beach, a good book, enjoying a great glass of wine while listening to good music and spending time w/dh.

the walk on the beach really clears my head. the sounds of the waves, the smell of the ocean, there is nothing like it for me.

I enjoy getting on the computer once my dh is asleep. Lately I've also been reading the newspaper at night. I think it's because I'm home so much. It makes me feel like I'm still connected to the outside world, lol...

Gardening is another one for me, as long as it's not too hot outside.
