Cat surgery?

My cat had surgery today and I pick her up tomorrow. She had an ulcer on her eye and it will be sewn shut for 2 weeks. I've borrowed a rabbit cage to put her in, so my other cat leaves her alone, while she recovers. Anything else I should pick up before I get her tomorrow?

aww, no advice really just give her lots of lovin..:) Will she need some mittens or something to keep her from scratching at the stitches?

You might need a cone for her head to keep her from pawing at it. The vet will probably have that though

Colette,
I posted under my dog is having surgery post ,so read there too !.Poor BooBoo I`ll be thinking of her!
I had to drop off my Boo`s antibiotic today at the vet`s and I wanted to go in and see her so bad but the nurse thought it might depress her if she saw me and think that she was going home so she advised against it.
She not eating to well , and they were afraid that by seeing me would make it worse.

I want to go see my booboo too...

I like my vet though, since she was the only one having surgery, the technician, took her home last night (she has a big cat cage) so she wouldn't be alone at the hospital. She was so scared, she turned her back on the vet and buried her head in my chest and then decided that wasn't good enough so she opened my coat and stuck her head in my arm pit.

I hope your dog comes home soon.
