Anyone Used 'Pal Mickey' at DisneyWorld?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive March 2005: Anyone Used 'Pal Mickey' at DisneyWorld?

Has anyone used Pal Mickey? Was he worth the money? Could you ever ask him a question, or did he only spew out info as you passed certain sensors? Can you reprogram him so that you could buy him used at ebay or borrow him from a friend, or is he only good for one time? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've never used it, but if you do a search on Disboards, I'm sure you'll find a lot of info.

We have one, but haven't taken it on property yet. It's good over & over not just one time. I don't know that you would need to reprogram, but I do think that once you have him on property he's supposed to "remember" your trip & "remind" you of attractions that you visited. He does play Disney trivia games whether or not your on property & no you can't ask him questions & get answers. I hope to go out to Epcot next week & I'll report back on how he worked!

Hmmm...it's just that one description said he remembers where you've been so that he doesn't repeat information to you. That worries me...if you return on a new trip, will he not talk about those attractions you visited last time? Or, in the case of buying him used on ebay, will he be worthless because the other people aready visited those attractions? I'm anxious to hear how he works for you! Enjoy Epcot!
