I'm Kinda Nervous

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive February 2005: I'm Kinda Nervous

I'm going today to see my Aunt that I havn't seen since the summer before my junior year of high school. I was 15. Thats pretty much what she remembers. But now i'm going to day as a married adult with an almost 2 year old child. We've talked on the phone occasionally and she gave me breastfeeding advice when DD was a newborn but still... i'm nervous. I know shes going to be looking at me and notice the great change between then and now. Shes not the judgemental type at all so I know she will have a lot of compliments. Maybe i'm just getting nervous over nothing.

Does anyone know what i'm talking about? Have you ever felt this way before with family?

I felt that way when I met my biological dad for the first time.
Have a nice get together.

I felt that way when I met my Uncle for the first time. It went really well though:). Good luck, everything will be fine:).

It went pretty well. She stayed for about 2 hours and we just talked and caught up on life. I was worried over nothing. :) Thanks for asking.
