My Aunt had a stop over today from the East Coast on her way to Dallas. She brought me a package of Scallops and Lobster, my uncle is a fisherman.

I want to make a cream based pasta dish tomorrow for my sister. Does anyone have any good cream base recipes?

Tell your aunt to stop by my house next time! :)

No recipes, but I am sure someone here will have something good for you!

Yes, I made it last night for dinner and it was sooooo YUMMY!!!
It's from the Better Homes and Gardens website.
I made it with Asparagus, Broccoli and Mushrooms.

Ingredients
8 ounces fettuccine
1 cup asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces or broccoli flowerets
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
6 ounces cooked lobster meat, cut into bite-size pieces (about 1-1/4 cups)
2/3 cup half-and-half or light cream
3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (3 ounces)
1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
Dash ground nutmeg
Coarsely ground black pepper (optional)
Breadsticks (optional)

Here's the website:

lobster and scallop pie - not a pasta dish but good

Colette,

You really should consider opening a restuarant or catering business, you always have the greatest food ideas. Thanks.
