Our ladies curling group is in bonspiel and the theme is Mardi Gras. Any suggestions for costumes

Jesters or queens are 2 things that come to mind. Really though, any costume you choose to have as a group would be appropriate, Mardi Gras-like attire.

The carnival krewes, and truck float organizations at Mardi Gras, generally have a theme for each float or truck float. In the Mardi Gras parades, the first few floats are the kings and queens and maids and dukes, etc., and the remainder of the floats each have a theme and everyone's costume is the same thing - sometimes all the same color, or sometimes different colors.

However, if I were you, I'd consider something like a jester, in purple, green and gold. There would be no questions then.
