No, I don't enjoy it, lol;)

I need some new, quick and easy recipes for dinner meals, please help.

I'm tired of the same old things, I like new ideas.

My families favorite meal is my own creation we call "chicken alfredo" I cook penne pasta as directed. I cut up chicken breast (thin slices, like fajitas), cook it in italian dressing. Top the noodles with a 1/2 jar of alfredo sauce, top with chicken and parmesan cheese. Not heart healthy but really yummy!

How about "pasta fresca alla crudaiola"?
We had it in Puglia (the heel of Italy) and it goes like this:
For 4 people
-500g (a bit more if its a main meal)of fresh egg pasta like orecchiete (or any fresh pasta, and if is not available then linguine or spaghetti would be fine)
-2 medium choped fresh tomatoes or the equivalent of cherry tomatoes (i like cherry tomatoes!)
-ricotta cheese (i don't know exactly how much, about...150 or 200 grams???) use a good brand with more flavour to it
-parmesan cheese or pecorino if available (you might want to add another grated cheese, in Puglia they use Cacciocavallo -which is smoked mozzarella- try it if you can find it)
-olive oil to drizzle the tomatoes
-black pepper to taste

Boil your water, when boiling put some salt in it and cook your pasta "al dente"-don't leave it too long otherwise it will be overcooked(fresh egg pasta cooks very quickly). When the pasta is ready, mix it with your fresh tomatoes, fresh ricotta, parmesan or pecorino, and black pepper and serve!

I'll think of something else ladies, what do you like, fish, meat or veg?

My mainstays aren't anything special but they are:
-meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and peas
-chicken marinated in Italian dressing and rice with steamed broccoli (rice and broccoli in chicken broth)
-chicken burritos with a green salad
-some kind of soup (chicken noodle, beef stew, 7 bean)
-Breakfast for dinner (usually pancakes or french toast with eggs and fruit salad)
-Spaghetti with green salad
-Several different casseroles (easy and my kids will eat lots of veggies, if they are hidden :))
I hope I gave you an idea or two. Happy grocery shopping!

An easy delicious recipe I like to make is lemon pepper chicken.First I spray a baking dish with some nonstick spray then I put about 4skinless boneless chicken breasts, 5-7 small red skinned potatoes cut into halves, a handful or two of baby cut carrots and sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning (This recipe also works with other seasonings) I also like to mix some olive oil with lemon juice and pour it over the top. Cover and bake at 400 for about 45 min to an hour. When chicken is cooked and potatoes are tender. Easy and yummy!

My favorite thing to make is shephards pie.
I also like to make noodles and meat.
~I cook 1lb of meat and 1lb of Hot sausage together.
~I cook Mac N Cheese
~Then I combine them and it is soooo yummy
