Okay, I teach preschool and I have 19 precious children. :) I need a theme for graduation. I am so blank this year. Last year was great- we did Dr. Seuss "OH The Places You Will Go" and it was so easy and fun. Year before I did "Everything I needed to know I Learned in Preschool". Also good. Year before that was patriotic.

I would love to do Mother Goose Rocks, but need some cute lines. I also love the song If I were a Butterfly. I have one little girl who is a princess....just ask her! I can come up with a cute line there- If I were a princess I would need beautiful dresses, precious jewels, a crown of solid gold, and the handsome prince on the horse. Of course.

That is the way the lines sorta go.

Does anyone know of a website for programs, or any ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks.

Each one of my three learned this little song called "I Am A Promise" when they graduated from preschool. What's cute is that some of the words are big, and it's so sweet to hear them say them...like "a great big bundle of potentiality"

You'd never guess that 4 year olds could do it, but it was amazing.

my kindergartener did a rendition of new york new york. "start spreading the news, I on to 1st grade I want to be a part of it, 1st grade." it was cute. I think a teacher came up with it. I am not familar with your song though.

You could do little stars - your princess being one - have each of the kids dress as a what they would like to be when they grow up. When I taught kindergarten we sang "Swinging on a Star" for our graduation song (we changed a few words and shortened it it a bit). It was a lot of fun.

theperpetualpreschool.com might have some ideas..we have done a western theme, an outer space theme ( blasting off to Kindergarten), insects ( flying off to Kindergarten); and summer fun..we sing songs ( I love piggyback song books because I cannot carry a tune), and use the children's artwork to decorate...I like the nursery rhyme one..hmm, my creative wheels are turning... we have also done a patriotic theme...I am graduating 27 this year..can't believe it is time to think about it already!!

My son's graduation theme last year was a Hawaiian theme and it was so cute. All of them dressed in little sundresses or hawaiian shirts and shorts. They sang a song called "Hawaiian Rainbows" and did the sign language to it. It was precious. They wore leis and had potted flowers sitting around for decorations.

It was very simple and very fun!
