Question for front loader owners

I have a strange question. We got our Kenmore Elite HE4t washer and dryer a few weeks ago. I do LOVE them!! However, I have noticed that maybe they rinse a little too well and are rinsing ALL of my fabric softener out of my clothes!! I espically notice that the towels are scratchier. Have you noticed that too?? I much prefer a liquid softener over dryer sheets, but I might just have to change. I use either purple Snuggle or the orange/green Gain liquid. Anyway, did you all notice that too and is there a better liquid softener that you all use that might not do this?? Or am I stuck switching to sryer sheets??

I don`t use fabric softener on my towels , I feel that they are more absorbent if I don`t.
I do use it on other clothes and it seems fine.
I have the whirlpool duet .
I did switch fabric softeners though ,

I use sauveltel (sp ?) fabric softener.
Gain didn`t seem to work in my machine anymore either.I do like the smell of Gain a lot better though.

Hmm, never noticed. We have Kenmore Elite HE3 set. I use Downy Free, which has no perfumes or dyes. During winter months I also use Bounce Free sheets in the dryer, but only to cut down on static.

Well, thanks ladies! Maybe I will just experiment with a few different brands etc.

Thanks again!!
