Need healthy snack advice
By Jtsmom on Saturday, January 22, 2005 - 10:10 am: | I need to find a snack for twelve 4 yr olds that is healthy and that starts with the letter "L". Any ideas???
Wow, that's a tricky one! Brainstorming... lactose- Something to do with milk/dairy leeks- ?? legumes - Peanuts are legumes but I wouldn't go there due to possible allergies. Something with peas or beans. I'm sure that would go over real well with kids. LOL! Not. lemons - Lemonade? Lemon drop cookies? Search allrecipes.com and see what they have for lemon recipes liver - LOL! liquorice/ lollipop - Not considered healthy Lunchables - You could make homemade lunchables with cheese and crackers, etc.

By Jtsmom on Saturday, January 22, 2005 - 08:19 pm: | That is a cute idea Vicki, but his teacher is very strict on the healthy part of it. I don't know if I succeeded in finding a healthy one or not, but I am going to make Lemon Poppy-seed Muffins. Hopefully that will do!!
