Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive January 2005: Sleepover tongiht
By Trisa on Friday, January 21, 2005 - 10:58 am:

My son is 11 today.
he is having 2 boys sleep over.
Yes two because they are twins!
They all get along so great.
My son is going to just die when he opens his gift. He ask for a nintendo DS for Christmas and I told him noooo wayyyyy! They cost ALOT!
But then I got to thinking. he bought his Nintendo sp with his owm money a few years ago.
Yes he saved a little over $100. He has $35 saved for the new DS but they cost $150! The new system
will be out before he saves that much lol
so my hubby and I talked about it and we got him the DS. I wrapped it, then wrapped it in an even bigger box. I can't wait to see him open it!!

bday
Did he open his gift?? Was he shocked?

By Karen~moderator on Saturday, January 22, 2005 - 11:25 am:

*I* want to know how the sleepover went!!!! I think I'm a veteran of sorts when it comes to those. Girl sleepovers are the worst, they pair off and someone ALWAYS ends up crying.

Boys, in my experience, are just mostly LOUD and wild and very active.

Was he pleased with his gift? And...did you get any sleep? LOL

By Trisa on Saturday, January 22, 2005 - 12:53 pm:

It was great!
He was so shocked I thought he was going to cry!
That look on his face was the best!
They boys were very good. I went to bed at 11 and I didnt hear them at all! They played with the ds
and talked to each other on them. That thing is so cool! The kids left an hour ago since we are getting alot of snow. I would do this again anytime it went that well.

My kids are pretty quiet when they have sleepovers. I hardly know I have extra kids in my house.

Glad everything went well. My DD will be five years old Feb. 11 so we are getting ready to have a "Princess Barbie" party at her request. She wants EVRYTHINNG PINK and Barbie gifts. LOL She's my "girly girl". Glad everything went so well for you, it is fun to see the kid's faces when they open their gifts, isn't it? AJ
