I know there must be an online version for a directory of websites. Does anyone know of one? TIA

The most famous is DMOZ:

However, my opinion of them changed considerably when they dropped momsview.com from their directory

It is put together by volunteers and also mirrored by Google:

Yahoo also has one:

However, websites can pay to be included.

Zeal is the new kid on the block:

and is also put together by volunteers.
