Where does the time go?

I am feeling a bit sentimental right now. I just happened upon Peyton's baby book. Tucked in the last page are all the posts of congratulations you ladies gave me when she was born. That was almost four years ago! Wow. It's hard to believe I have *known* some of you since January 1998 when I first found Mommytimes! Thank you for always being there. :)

It flies, Melanie.

When Jeff and Jen were babies, Jules and Jason were adolescents. I thought I'd never live through those years.

Then all of a sudden one day Jules is having her OWN child and they are all adults.

I can totally understand how you feel. *I* remember when Peyton was born. Many of you have been there for some major ups and downs and milestones in my life too.

All I can say is, I'm *really* happy to *know* you all!

I remember bumping into you at Mommytimes! I was pregnant with B. She's now 6.5! Where did the time go?!

I've been around since mommytimes, too. I found you ladies when first dd was 3. I now have four. :) The time goes by way too fast; I agree.

LOL Trina. Bumping into you is what kept me around Mommytimes! It's hard to believe how fast it has gone!

I found Mommytimes when we first moved to Panama. Randy was 10 months old. He's 9 1/2 now!!! You all are as much a part of my life as my "physical" friends. You've been through 2 major moves with us, Robin's dx's of ADHD and bipolar, you were here when dh deployed for six months, and SO much more. I really don't know what I'd do without you all. :)

You used to sign as "Cathy in Panama", didn't you? Wow, only 10 months old when you joined that board. Unbelievable!

When I joined mommytimes, I only had 2 kids. Nicole was 4 and Meghan was 2, and now they're almost 12 and 10. Since that time 5 more kids have joined the family, and 2 have left. Wow!
I, too, have printed off many pages of comfort and support I've received over the years. I'm sure we'll all be here for many years to come.

I joined Mommytimes when Brittany was only a few months old. Someone at a parenting class I was taking mentioned it. She is 8 1/2 now..it's been a long time.

I don't post often but I check in everyday...at least once!

Agreed....... I believe it will be 8 years in May for me. The girls had just turned a year old the March before I joined and they will be 8 this year. Dh use to say, "Man are you going to be on there all night?" "you going on there again?" Now he just says, "night see you in the morning" LOL...

Here's to many more years to come...........

I feel the same way, when I joined my kids were infants. MV saw me through a lot the past 2 years, and I'm grateful for all the friends I've met here.
