Hehe! We're going to be in June. This is our first trip to Myrtle Beach, SC (actually our first trip to the beach, period) and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or hints about specific hotels, attractions, etc.

Any DO NOT stay at such and such hotel? We're going for a week and would like a nice hotel right on the beach. I've done a lot of research online and have found several good websites and deals, but I know that firsthand experience is always the best!

I haven't been to Myrtle Beach since I was a kid, but I loved it! As I recall, there's some great shelling there. I know there are some South Carolina members here somewhere. I seem to remember another member recently went there for a vacation. Hopefully they will see your post and reply to you. Sounds like FUN, can I stow away in your luggage? LOL

I have been to Myrtle Beach, but only twice. Both times we had good luck with the Hotels and we stayed right on the beach. Certain spots are more quiet than others. The year I liked it the best we stayed at The Caribbean (resort & villas), it was nice and we were not woke up with loud noises in the middle of the night. and it is right on the beach. I hope you have a blast.

Oh, definately get some sand dollars!(You can feel them in the water with your feet!) So much fun to take home!! When we went I think we stayed at a Radison resort on the beach.(Although, this was 10 years ago!)Although, I've tried to find the hotel online again, but I can't. It was great, and had a few pools and a small board walk. I love SC! Have fun!
