Hi Everyone, I'm a new mom of a 9 month old baby and Valentine's Day is fast approaching. I would really like to hear any suggestions you might have for an at home romantic evening with your partner. My babysitter has a boyfriend, so it's unlikely that we will be able to go out. I would love to hear what you have tried in the past. What worked and what didn't. Thanks.

One thing I have done which went over very well was I sent dh an invitation for a romantic dinner for two. After the kids went to bed, dh and I had a romantic, candlelight dinner on the good china. I had a special menu all planned, with no ketchup in sight. (Okay, so yours is only 9 months, but in a couple of years you will completely understand that this marks a special occassion-LOL). Dh just loved it.

Ditto Melanie! We've done that and it is a treat. I actually hate to go out to eat on 2/14 because restaurants are sooo crowded.
