Did anyone else try for the free Playstation 2 posted in the freebie section, where you had to complete 3 trial offers? I haven't received mine yet and I'm worried I got scammed. Please let me see some good come out of this.

I tried it but the 6-8 weeks for delivery have not passed yet. I'm generally weary about these things, but John and Feona put a lot of work in their freebies, so I figured it was worth a shot. (the offers I tried were for things I would try anyway, like Blockbbuster.com service.) I'll let you know if I receive mine.

My current status with them is that my PS2 should arrive in "a few weeks" to "3 months". I'll post when I receive it.

I'll be giving them a call later today or tomorrow, I'll let you know what I find out. Feona, you said in your email it comes in the form of a rebate... does that mean I'll get a rebate for the price of a PS2, and then I go to the store and buy one? Or do I buy it first?? We actually bought a used one for N's Christmas gift, but I'm sure he'd like to have a newer one.

I received an email last Wednesday saying my gift had been shipped and should take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. Yesterday (4 days after the email) I received a check from The Useful.com for $149.99. We went out and bought a PS2 yesterday and have been having fun ever since.

I just thought I'd post to let you know that it does take a while, but they came through for me.
