What a strange night....

Last night was a preregistration for my sons middle school. Hes in 5th grade and will be moving to middle school next Sept. Ok, I was having a hard time with this thinking "How did he get to be 10 yrs old".. I mean really where did all that time go. Anyways, we all went as a family as my husband wanted to check out the new school too. First of all it was crazy packed there, I mean the parking lot was over flowing, cars parked up and down the street. I was totally shocked on how crowded itwas.
As we were getting seated, I looked ahead and saw a lady who looked like my dr.
Well as most of you know of my miscarriages, and I was sent to an RE(Reproductive specialist). Well this is the dr who I thought I saw. I guess when I see drs, I never really expect to see them out in public. I mean sure I know they have lifes of their own, but never think about it LOL :)
Well there was so many people in there, I couldnt quite tell. Well eventually half the crowd moved into another part of the school for more talking and explaining of middle school. When we were free to walk around and talk to teachers, I saw her again. And sure enough it was the specialist I saw.Ok, I know this seems insignificant to most of you. But shes the one who diagnosed my problem of the blood clotting disorder that was making me miscarry, the one who prescribed the 2 shots of heparin a day etc...
So We went up to her, and Im not quite sure if she remembered me, as I only saw her for up to 8 weeks of my pregnancy then was released back to my regular ob/gyn. Shes not very "personable" she never was. She is not mean or insensitive, but not really chatty, if that makes sense.Shes very educated and knows her stuff, not a great talker. She acted like she remembered me, but wasnt sure if she was just being nice. Anyways, she saw the baby, asked her name. When we said "Faith" , she said thats the perfect name for her.We chatted a bit, found out she has a 10 yr old daughter who is also going to start middle school as well. I never realized she lived fairly close to me. Not in my neighborhood of course, but maybe a couple miles away.
But it was so significant to me to see her there, as if it wasnt for her, we wouldnt have Faith.
