Weight Watchers? Anyone want to share recipes?

Moms View Message Board: Let's Get Fit! (Weight Loss Support Group): Weight Watchers? Anyone want to share recipes?
By Ilovetom on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 - 06:02 pm:

Okay it's five years since my last weight watcher stint. Now I only want to lose about 8 or so pounds, but with me it may as well be a 100.

So, I am loving the point counter calculator this time!!!! And I lost one pound this week and it was painless. I am loving frozen grapes.

Anyone else doing WW?

I am on WW and would love some new recipes.. I am having a hard time because I have skinny kids that seem to lose weight when I try to eat right for some reason. Why is it that I can't seem to find any really kid friendly WW recipes that taste good, or maybe it is because my kids are so darn picky. Kids.. ugh... sometimes being a mom is so frustrating.

I know! Luckily- my girls are away at college and my husband is traveling salesman- so a frozen meal will do.

Have you tried the Bluebird cupcakes? One point, but of course those 3 are tiny- but really good!

Tarable, email me at tunnia 2001 at hot mail dot com (without spaces) and I will email you some of my favorite WW recipes along with their point values. My dh and dks love these recipes too.

Here's a potato soup recipe that's totally good. For a diet soup anyway.

3 cans of 98% fat free chicken broth
1 package of hash browns- Ora Ida diced ones
1 package of Pioneer Gravy- it's like white gravy

Put the potatoes in a saucepan and add 2 cans of chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Mix the 3rd can with the gravy until dissolved. Add this to the potatoes. Simmer til the potatoes are done. You can add onions.

It's 2 points per cup.
