Curves Tip

I thought I'd share this with the other ladies going to Curves. I've noticed that some of the machines are just not doing it for me and wanted to make them harder. The girl who was working today showed me that, on the machines that work your legs/butt, on those little handles that you rest your hands on, if you actually push down on the handles and lift your butt off the bench, it makes the machine a bit more challenging. Anyone else have any tips from Curves? I am asking next week how to make that ab machine harder because that does nothing for me.

I'd love to know how to make the ab machine tougher! That is my problem area and it isn't responding the way the rest of my body is. One tip I know of is that if you hold your legs up at a right angle to your torso on the arm machines, you'll use your tummy muscles.
