My plans

Moms View Message Board: Let's Get Fit! (Weight Loss Support Group): My plans
By Brandy on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 - 08:05 am:

1.) drink at least 100 oz of water per day and this should be attainable because i'm only going to have milk when i have cereal and i usually drink only water anyways...saturday i have set aside to have a gatorade or sweet tea only 1 though = )

2.) pretty much goes with one and that's not to drink stuff i don't need until saturday lol...

3.) no sweets unless it's on saturday and then i think it will only be 1 item or 2 if i so chose because i'm giving myself a little break on saturday (party time lol ) not really but you all understand = )

4.) at least try to move around and not sleep all day.

5.) other goals are to get my house cleaner i guess i don't mean cleaner but some items out that i don't need like clothes just sitting around lol...that i don't need i will buy more if the need arises and i haven't worn the items for awhile now anyways...
also getting rid of some of the boy's clothes also.

and i guess that's about it = ) have a great day everyone...

Excellent goals, Brandy!!!
I agree with having one "cheat" day, I usually give myself Sundays, since it's my "Saturday" (first day off for my weekend). Also, purging items, especially if you are a pack rat like me, is great for you emotionally, so if you have a bunch of stuff to get rid of, donate it to a thrift store, or to Freecycle. I prefer the disabled vet thrift store here, because I have no patience for Freecycle and no-shows.
Try getting a pedometer, it's been a fun way for me to "compete" with myself, trying to surpass my previous day. It's also helped me at work, because it reminds me to spend time on the floor helping/talking to agents, instead of in my office only doing administrative stuff. Good luck, and keep us updated!!
