Last night my 9 year old was doing his spelling homework. He had to write his words in abc order. He has done this all year, he is a pro at it. So he hands me his paper and they are all wrong, not just missed one or two, but all of them. So I asked, "what did you do here, this isn't even close to right?", he slaps his forehead and says "ugh geesh, I put them in abc order by the 2nd letter!" I laughed so hard. It is just one more example of how differently he thinks.
