I'm always saying "Thank you, honey" to Connor and he always says "Thank you, Mommy"...

only last night, when I said "Night Night punkin", he said, "Night night, honey." (In the sweetest little tone too.) He's so cute sometimes I can't stand it!! :)

That is so sweet Heidi!!! I have to share a story with you, it's about my friend that lost her children in the car accident last year. We moved into our houses the same summer and my son Frank and Lee were only two, same as Connor and they became best of buddies until Lee's death at 15. Shortly after meeting the boys were playing in the yard and we were talking and Lee came over to ask Marie a question and he ended it with thank you Honey. I couldn't believe it. Turns out instead of calling her Mommy he called her Honey, this went on for many years. Cherish that little boy and give him big hugs.

He is such a wonderful little guy, Heidi! What a loving child.

Lara hugged Dan's leg the other night and looked up at him and gently said, "Daddy, you're my sweetheart." She had never said that to him, and oh my, he loved it.:-) They sure know how to make us smile, don't they?

Wait till he asks you to marry him, that's the one that really melted my heart.

My ds who is six loves to cuddle with me on the couch. I was at his school the other day, and I stopped in the lunch room to say hi. I guess he was not having a good day and with tears in his eyes he says "mommy, i just want to lay on the couch and cuddle and hug you!"
If we lay on the couch together, he puts his arm around me. LIke my dh does when we cuddle. :)

Ds has asked me to marry him too. He wanted to know why I couldn't marry him.
Little boys are so sweet!
