Ok,so I've got 1 son who kinda already knows whats going on.After he just poops,he tells me "POOP".For a couple of weeks,I've been taking them into the bathroom and dumping their dirty diaper in the toilet and saying "bye bye poop".They like to say bye and wash their hands, lol.I'm going to start letting them sit on the potty with their clothes on and bring out the potty books. With multiples is it easier to do them one at a time or try them all at once.TIA

I trained mine at the same time, but Mads was a little quicker. At 18 months we put potty chairs in the living room and let them sit on them whenever they wanted, clothes on. Eventually, they started going potty on them. I would try if they all seem ready, but don't push any of them too hard. Good luck!!

I don't have multiples, so I have no experience with that. BUT, from an "outsiders" point of view, I would think that it would be easier to do it all at once if they are all ready. It may work out better that way. One seeing the other being rewarded for using the toilet. That will motivate them.

Of course if there is one of them that is just not ready, it won't be successful regardless of what you WANT to do. I would give it a whirl though :)

Good luck to you!! I can imagine you are probably excited to save some cash by not having to buy diapers anymore :)

My girls potty trained at the same time... One had accidents at night but both wore pull ups to bed. I have a friend with twin boys that will be 4 this summer and she did the same thing. She potty trained both, letting them lead her and one still has accidents at night but both still wear pull ups to bed. Basically that way they see themselves as equals was our thinking.... It actually seemed to go more smoothly.. but I had two older children and didn't have that need to potty train or bust mentality. We just did it as they wanted to.. My girls are 10 now so this was all so long ago.. LOL

Thanks ladies :) I thought potty training all 3 at once would work better.I know it will be awhile but I'm starting to see little changes that made me think its time to pull out the potty books and potty.Did anyone potty train when their kiddos were still in cribs? When I potty trained dd she was in a bed and we put the potty in her room because there was a gate on her door lol.Wow,this is all so different for me lol. I would NEVER leave a potty in a room with 3 toddlers, this is a whole new ball game.

My kids were long out of cribs, when they potty-trained. It was easier with Emily. When she was ready, she was ready and it hardly took any effort.

Yes no potty in the room.. LOL I had all kinds of fun diaper messes with the girls that I didn't go through with the oldest two. The two of them would team up and they seemed to get themselves into more trouble then I knew what to deal with at times..... LOL

I would suggest day time focus first.. I also had the girls in beds before I potty trained but that was because they figured out how to get out of the cribs once they were able to walk, so I had no choice.. But I took potty training one step at a time and once they both got excited about each other going then it seem to take. Like "I need to pee because sissy did.." Can't be out done, ya know... Yes I had a lot of messes to clean up and accidents happened but like I said 10 year old and a faint memory..
