RE: TODDLER BOYS

Or, is it a girl thing too?
Connor has been spitting...all of the time. It's hard to get mad because he's so proud of himself, but I try to just tell him he can only do it in the sink. I've been putting him in his pack n play when he does it now and that seems to help.
Do they grow out of this?

Gender doesn't matter. I think it's the novelty of discovering a new physical skill. Both my kids did this, and yes, they outgrow it. Be careful not to make too big a deal of it or that will reinforce it. LOL!

Ditto, Trina.

I'm going through the knuckle-cracking phase with my 12 year old. :)

Ditto Trina and Annie. I just told my boys no spitting, just like I would say no hitting. It eventually stopped.

LOL, at least he is spitting in the sink! My boys were spitting at each other. Gross! I hate to admit that I even caught my oldest leaning over his brother(who was lying down on the floor) trying to spit into his open mouth. YUCK!

It will pass. But, then of course, something new will come up!
