He's sleeping through the night!

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Archive July-December 2005: He's sleeping through the night!

Major *knock on wood*! Mason has been such a wonderful baby! DD came home and cried and cried and was gassy and never slept. Mason is so different. He never cries unless he is wet or hungry. He has been sleeping every night from somewhere around 10:30-11:00pm to 4:30-5am! He will nurse a little in bed with me and then sleep until around 8am! Of course, I know he will have his moments, but so far, he's been a dream baby! I'm just in shock! How can babies be so different??

Eve you are so lucky.
Faith went through Phases where she slept through the night at about 10 weeks, but that was short lived LOL...
At 16 months, shes almost sleeping through the night LOL.

That's great! Get your sleep while you can LOL

Oh my goodness. How fortunate. I've heard from lots of mommies that if you are blessed with a fussy baby, you're entitled to a calm one next. I don't know how much of that is true, since I'm still waiting for my calm one! :)
And I agree with Sunny. Sleep while you can.

Eve - That's wonderful! Natalie was the same way. Always such a good sleeper. She had a few 2-3 week phases but it was related to switching formula. She's always been so good about everything...only cried when something is wrong. I don't even like to tell people because I get the 'evil eye' from other mommies!! :)
I know, if we had another baby, it will likely be a fussy one because our first was great!

Bella was that way and I was so thankful since Seth had been such a difficult baby. I was so nervous about having a 4yo, a difficult 2yo and a newborn but she was a piece of cake! Enjoy it!!!

You are definitely lucky! Neither of mine knew what it meant to sleep until age 2! LOL

You are lucky. I swear Sarah did nothing but cry, for those first few months! although, she did sleep through the night at 8 weeks, so I was lucky that way.

Emily was about 3-4 months before she started sleeping through the night.
