These days Matthew is my little helper. He has his own broom and sweeps the floor everyday. He also takes the broom and uses it to turn on the lights in the kitchen. He must put things into the the recycling and will not let me take the garbage out, he has to do it.

He helps me with everything, from emptying the dishwasher (he even knows where things go) to helping with Cameron. Everytime Cameron cries he jams the soother in this mouth and rocks him or he tries to pick him up. No way he could though I think Cameron at 2 months already weighs about 13 lbs.

Today when I showered I left the bathroom door open and when I came out he was swiffering the floor. His most favourite activity is vacuuming.

It's so cute and sweet, I hope he's still like this when he's 16!

LOL, Adena! YES, train him NOW! Seriously, that is so cute when they are that young and want to help. The problem comes when they get a bit older and DON'T want to do those chores! Sounds like you are doing a good job, as he gets older, assigning chores shouldn't be as much of a problem.
