Baby C is already 8 months old! He started crawling last week (and on the day I was in bed w/ a fever). He started pulling up to standing in his crib two weeks prior. I had not lowered the bed to lowest level at that point, and once again I was in bed w/ a fever. So his two biggies happened when I was least able to be up and about w/ him. He is really on the move already. He crawls everywhere and can even go up and down a small step from one room to the next.

He just broke his third tooth (up top) and broke his first two over the labor day weekend (bottom tw)

He loves to babble. His hair to just getting long enough to give hints that it will be curly.

He is incredible and so precious.

I am still able to nurse (although only small amounts). I plan to keep going until my body stops. Over the course of a day he gets about an 8oz bottles worth of breast milk, so I think that is worth continuing. He loves to eat solids, although has stopped the last 1.5wks due to illness and teething.

He is up to 18lbs and 8 oz. Quite a chubby little fellow, esp since he started at 6lb 12oz.

I think that covers it.

I've been totally absent from the board due to back to school, health problems, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (almost completely healed now! ) and just trying to get my home back into shape. I haven't even been turning on the computer. So I appologize to all those I have never met. I feel like a stranger who walks into a room and just starts talking like I never left. Hoping to be back on board more often. Still only days at a time rather than each day, but at least checking in again and getting to know some of the new names.
