Randy's been complaining of a sore throat since Saturday morning. :( The ped clinic does rapid strep tests on a walk in basis from 9-11am and 1-3pm. Robin and I both have dentist appointments this morning so we'll go this afternoon. At least we'll find out now instead of later this week. Randy's birthday party is this weekend. We had to postpone it a couple years ago for strep. I'll let you know what we find out. Every year...

How often does he get strep or tonsilitis, Cat?

Jen is probably going to have her tonsils out the day after her 21st b'day this year. She gets strep or tonsilitis at LEAST 5 times a year. There's a point where enough is enough!

Jeff had his out when he was 3, for some reason they wouldn't do Jen. Now, as a young adult, she is facing that.

Wasn't he just sick recently with something like that? Or am I having a *senior moment*? LOL

Karen, they've said in the past he has to have strep something like 4 times in 6 months for them to take the tonsils out. He usually gets it 2-3 times during strep season (late Aug-Feb or so). Maybe if he gets it a couple times this year I'll get one of the peds to do something. He recently had tests for headaches. It's always something...
