I do NOT believe this!!!

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Archive July-December 2005: I do NOT believe this!!!

Lauren has been so fussy lately and I worried because she felt slightly warm the other day and all she has wanted to do lately is nurse and be held. Well, just now I was holding her and she started crying and I thought poor thing and I stuck my clean finger in her mouth to see if she was hungry and there were 2 little bottom teeth starting to come through. OH MY GOODNESS. Hailey cut her first 2 teeth when she was 4 months but Lauren is only 2 1/2 months old!!! I am in total shock I cannot believe it!!! WOW, now I am going to have to watch out for the biting while she is nursing, I thought I had a few more months to prepare myself but nope.

WOW! I had late teeth babies, so I can't imagine teeth that young! My oldest didn't have those bottom 2 teeth until she was 17 months old!

My ds was about 16 months old. So imagine my suprise also when at 6 weeks my dd had back teeth coming in. The never came in all the way for about a year but they were there. The doc did not believe me at first he had to look himself. My dd did everything different. She was the same girl that could hold her head up at 5 weeks and you better turn her around where she could see everything! Hope you don't get bit to soon!

Wow! That is early. Both of my boys got their first teeth at 4 months. You probably won't have to worry about biting for awhile. As long as she is actively nursing she can't bite because her tongue will be over her bottom teeth. It's usually when they get a little older and start playing around that they chomp. Ouch!! Those new little teeth are razor sharp, but my kids quickly learned that biting was not an option--LOL.

Sarah was just over 5 months, when she got her first bottom teeth. Then she tried biting me, but learned to nurse, without doing that!

Ditto, that *is* early! Jeff cut his first tooth @ 4 months and I was b/feeding too. How close are these teeth to breaking through her gums??

WOW! I can't believe it! You'll have to get a pic if you can!! Awww...she's already growing up!!

You can just barely see the little darlings but you can feel them, the one on the bottom right (her right) is coming in a little more. If you put your finger in her mouth she doesn't suck it she bites it, it is so cute.
