Have you ever heard of Apologia curriculum? I'm looking at their science and history/geography for 7th grade. If you want you can email me instead of replying here. Thanx :) cathyliz @ bigfoot.com (minus the spaces, of course! :))

Yes I have heard of it. It is supposed to be a good curriculum. Since I have not used it, I can't really give you any personal info on it.
A great website to check out peoples opinions on various curriculum is:

Good luck with whatever you choose. Be aware the first year you may experiment (I am saying experiment instead of wasting money) on various curriculums before you find the perfect one. It seems to happen to every new homeschooler---myself included. I tried several types before going to A Beka 100%. There are so many great curriculums it can almost be overwhelming.

Thanx for the site, Yvonne!!! The Apologia science curriculum got rave reviews. I'd been looking at Lifepac for Language/Arts, but from what I read there and heard from other hs'er, I think I'll find something else. I'm still waiting for my A Beka and Calvert catalogs. I'm going to go with Singapore for math, and most likely Apologia for science and history/geography. :)

GOOD LUCK WITH ALL!
Let me know if you have any more questions.
