Alternative to a booster seat/high chair

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Archive January-June 2005: Alternative to a booster seat/high chair

Does anyone have any good ideas other than a booster seat or a high chair for an almost 4 yr. old. Right now my youngest DD is sitting on a couple of big books on a regular kitchen chair. We had to take the booster seat off her chair because she tried to push herself out a few times and flipped the whole chair over-very scary. TIA.:)

Would this work? The Cooshie Booster from One Step Ahead. My 6.5 yr. old DD still uses hers.

Looks like exactly what we need. I will take a look at Babies R Us and see if they carry them today. I need to go there and get an outfit for my new niece anyways :).

I bougth something called a trip trap chair. It is important for their developing trunk strength to not just be at the right height, but to also have their feet supported. They can be found here http://www.equipmentshop.com/ProductDetail.asp?ProductID=8
