What do you think about he BRitax Laptop as far as safety is concerned. I don't even think they are sold in the US but a friend had the police department give her one so I was wondering what you thought of them. Pro's? Con's?

They're great! Good for 30-65 lbs.. I have one and got one for Eve when I learned they were being discontinued in Dec. 2002. Britax discontinued selling them in the US because they're not LATCH compatible. VERY hard, if not impossible to purchase now. Too bad because they were a good and affordable option for 40+ lb. kids in lap belt only situations. We still use ours for car pooling or when I have extra kids who are too young for a booster, etc..
