I bet you are getting tired of all the posts to you...lol

Anyway, I wanted to hear your thoughts on the Britax Parkway, dd is 39 inches tall, and weighs 40 lbs., I have been considering this particular booster. TIA :)

Nope, not tired. :)

Actually, I'm itching to get a Parkway myself! However, I don't *need* one! LOL! It's brand spanking new and the buzz amongst my CPS Tech pals. The Parkway is very similar to the Body Guard but it doesn't have lock-offs or an adjustable base. Both my kids are in BGs and love them. The only reason I'm considering the PW for DS (8) is because the lock-offs on the BG can be tricky to use properly. I prefer the lock-offs for DD (6) because she's tiny and I just feel safer that way. I have to help her buckle in correctly, but that's fine by me.

See the pic in my profile of DD in a Body Guard. The red arm rest is a lock-off. See how the seat belt is locked under it? The Parkway doesn't have them. Both boosters are safe and are the only boosters on the market that offer side impact protection.

The BG has some really cool covers to choose from. See BritaxUSA.com.

the reason I considered the parkway is because the height is from 38 and the others are from 43 and dd is only 39, so I guess I would ask could I get her a Bodyguard with her only being 39 inches tall?

Sorry Candis, I should have noticed that. No, I can't recommend the Bodyguard if your DD does not meet the minimum requirements. I don't think you can go wrong with the Parkway. If you decide to get it please give me your review. :)

Trina, I talked to Dh and let dd see the booster and they both love it so we will be getting it for her soon. Any clue when it will be available to buy, I noticed on the Britax website, it said "Soon to be available at an Authorized Britax Retailer near you!"....If you know could you tell me when..:) When it does comes available we are buying it!

I actually saw one IRL at BabiesRUs this past weekend. VERY nice! They only had one cover and it was different than the ones shown at BritaxUSA.com. I believe it's called "Express". It has black plush on the base and gray with yellow piping on the back and head rest. Hard to explain. Not girly but not bad either. There are also a few on-line retailers who carry it, although many seem to be currently out of stock. I'll keep an eye out. :)

Do you have a BabiesRUs near you? They might have one you can see up close and personal.
