I believe I am more of a laid back mommy now...

I was on the computer last night when my 3 year old got a book out that one of my friends from High school had made. It was full of drawings of faceless people modeling wedding dresses and clothes and such, so my dd decided that these people needed a face, so she went through the entire book and put little circle eyes and a mouth on every head...I laughed so hard, and I even woke up dh to show him, he was laughing too. Just thought I would share some humor. A couple years ago I would have never thought I would ever have let that slide, but I guess I am so proud of her artistic ability now. :) What suprised me and dh was the fact that the eyes and mouth were not "too big" they were just the right size. She is so perfect, I love my little doll. :)

I agree with you Candis. There are lots of things that are just too cute to make me upset. Last Christmas a friend gave me a beautiful angel in a snowglobe. DD who was almost 3 at the time was so in awe of it so I sat it on the tv stand where she could see it. She kept touching it and I'd warn her to not pick it up. Until she picked it up and accidentally dropped it and it broke the globe but not the angel inside. I might have been upset, but dd looked up at me with the most beautiful big eyes and said 'It's okay, mommy. Now the angel is free.' How can you be upset with that? We cleaned up the mess, chipped away all of the broken glass and kept it as an angel music box.

These are all cases of the cup being half full rather than half empty. Great attitudes, Moms! :-)

We have a few memories like those, and just recently Jen was remembering something that happened when she was little, and she asked me *didn't you get mad at me?* When I told her No, I didn't, she said *I would have killed me!*

I told her to wait until she had kids, that would change! LOL
