Trina, booster question

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Archive July-December 2004: Trina, booster question

Hey, Trina. Robin has the Graco Backless Turbo Booster. Well I weighed and measured him this morning and he's under the weight limit (He's 78lbs--little bugger's lost about 4lbs in the past few months!), but I can't find a height limit anywhere. Is there one? We did notice that in dh's back seat (middle row of the Durango) we have to put the headrest up all the way for his ears not to be over the top. He's 56" right now. The recommendation is 58", right? I'd have him use a regular seatbelt, except his legs still don't hang over the edge of the seat. When the boys ride in the back row of either of our cars (I have an Expedition) they don't use boosters because they're bench seats and they fit really well in those seats. I guess I'm just wondering if there's a height limit to the Graco Turbo Booster (backless) that I just can't find. Tia :)

Btw, Randy's 51 1/2" and only 56lbs. He's good to go for a while in his backless booster. :)

Okay. Never mind. I found it. It's got a height limit of 57". One more inch to go. Hope his little legs get that inch! lol I also looked at what seat Randy has. He's got an Evenflo Right Fit backless booster. Works for him for now. It's weight limit is 80lbs, that's why Robin has a different one. Thanx anyway, Trina. :)

Cat, You're welcome! LOL! :)

I just double checked our backless Graco Turbo Booster: 40-100 lbs., 40-57". I know you're aware of this information, but am posting for the benefit of others. text description

Thanx, Trina. The only one Robin's still not passing is #2 of the 5 step test. What's funny is with the booster he's as big as I am in the car! lol Sniff, sniff. My babies are growing up! :)
