My ds has an annual psychological and IQ evaluation, due to a study he is in about the type of therapy we have chosen for his autism. He has been fighting a cold and cough and won't be going to school tomorrow because he is feeling so poorly. He had his third evaluation today and he was awesome! The first year, his IQ tested at 30, due to his lack of verbal skills. Last year, on an equivalent, but not the same, test, he scored a 116! It was the largest jump ever seen in an autistic child! We weren't expecting anything like that this year but he still moved up to a 129! He loved it and kept asking for more questions, more puzzles, and more matrices! The psychologist is wonderful and Seth was thrilled to make him happy. After the psychologist left and I had my ds set up on the computer (his chosen reward), I just went in my bathroom and cried tears of joy! I am so proud of the hours, days and years of hard work that my little man has put in. I am so, so, so blessed and humbled to be his mom.
