DD, 1st grade, came home with her card. "E-excellent" is the highest, "V-very good", "S-satisfactory" and so on are the grades.

DD got E's in art, pe, social studies, science,and reading. She got three V's, one in music, math and one in writing. Note on writing was in mechanics, not writing style. And E in behavior all around. Last year she got a "still learning" in art so, that E is great news. Now how you get a V in music surprises, esp since she loves music. Maybe there is some math going on there already, even though just 1st grade.

So proud. I was thinking about keeping her in Kindergarten, but I guess she is getting comfortable after all.
