Mt. St. "Helen" is finally quiet ...

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Archive July-December 2004: Mt. St. "Helen" is finally quiet ...
By Amecmom on Thursday, November 4, 2004 - 09:10 am:

Just a little update on my screamer. Since her 12 hour episode on Monday, little Helen has been the model baby. She eats, sleeps, cries just a little and finally pooped on her own! I'm hoping the on her own part continues ...
She woke this morning at around 6:30, ate, and then fussed for a few minutes. I put her down in her bassinett awake and she fell asleep on her own in seconds!!!

She's starting to smile, - and it's not gas - make cute sounds, and show excitement by wiggling her little arms and legs. She holds her head up very well and can push up with her arms to lift her head and look around.

She's the Jekel and Hyde baby for sure ...

These quiet periods really make the "eruptions" easier to handle.

Mt. St. "Helen"...LOL, Ame. I'm glad she's feeling better! I loved my kids as babies, but, boy, I really don't miss that stage! I'll take them as 11 and 14 any day!!

I'm glad that your SCREAMER is finally feeling better. That is great that she fell asleep on her own. Rylee does this now too. She transitioned herself and I love it.

Glad to hear it and I must say I enjoy the baby stages (really I do) but I think they are way easier to deal with when they get older and can tell you what is wrong. Hope the good report keeps up! :)
