This morning when I took Russell to school he wanted to know if I knew where his princepal "lives". So I went to her office cuz he said he wanted to talk to her about something important. So we walked in and he walked up to her and said "Mrs. Lewis, I know I was wrong for biteing that boy the other day and I am very sorry. Will you still be my friend because I really like you and I want to be your favorite boy." She had tears in her eyes and told him that she would always be his friend and that if there were more kids that took responcibilty(sp) for what they did wrong and felt bad about it then the world would be a better place. She gave him a big hug and told him that if he ever wanted to talk about anything, good or bad, he was always welcome in her office. He had such a proud look on his face and so did I. I had no idea what he was gonna say to her but he was very quiet on the way to school so I think he was planning to do this.
Ya know, when you become a parent you always worry about what kind of person your baby will grow up to be. You hope you don't screw them up and they'll be productive members of this world. Well, he may only be 5yrs old but he made me so proud today!! If this is any preview of what he will be when he is older than I know I have done my job as a mommy!! Thanks for letting me brag!

Thanks Everyone!! I told Russell last night that every one on mommys computer is proud of him, so he wnted me to read everything to him. He said hes gonna do lots of really good things so I can tell you guys and you can be proud. He thought it was soooo cool that people he didn't know knew his name. Now he thinks he's famous!!!!
