Hey all -

We are moving to a 2 story house and will need to install baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs- any recommendations on types/brands? I'd love to have something that is fairly easy to open and shut - one-handed!

Baby Gate

This is what I have at the top of the stairs. It's been there two years and works great. My 9yo can open it, but the toddlers and even preschoolers can't. I got it at Toys R Us. There are LOTS of good gates out there. Good luck.

This is what we used. VERY sturdy and solid. It's tubular metal.

We use the same one Trina uses...it is a wonderful and very safe gate.
