Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Archive July-December 2004: Should ds have stayed home? (Sorry I'm whining)
I feel so bad. Nico had a cough this morning, we've both been a little sick. I was so rushed b/c I had to come to work early to open and check in these 2 Bichon Frisse's that must come early, so I didn't have much time to monitor him. He seemed okay, all the kids at his school seemed to have a cough or something. Anyway, I may try to do just a few dogs and leave early to go get him. I doubt he has a fever or anything, I think I just feel bad because we were so rushed.
Don't feel bad. It is getting to the time where kids will get couphs and such. If he gets bad, I'm sure the school will call you. Everything is fine, don't be so hard on yourself.

My 15yo has a cold. Her nose is stuffed up. Don't think I've heard her cough, though. Hopefully, just stays a cold. Pertussis (whooping cough) has been pretty rampant around our parts!
I hope Nico held up ok.

Thanks guys, I was having an emotional morning, you know, it's that time of the month. I called the school a few hours later and he was fine. They said they would call if he was acting sick. You all were right! Stori, that's so funny. I let those guys run around the shop and they peed and pooped everywhere, I stepped in it and tracked it everywhere! What a day!!
Might be allergies too. Does he have allergies this time of year?
