What happened???

To my sweet little 2yo daycare boy??? (the nurse's son that I sometimes have weekends) This child (who we'll call "N") has hit the terrible two's with a vengance! He's become defiant and sometimes downright nasty. He actually rolled his eyes at me the other day! He's 26 months old!!! Today, he's been climbing on things, jumping on the furniture, refusing to talk (grunting instead, when this child has an incredible vocabulary for a 2yo), and pulling the 1yo's pants off (while laughing hysterically). *sigh* He used to be such a sweet little guy. Boy, I'm going to miss that. I'm not really asking for advise, because I know this is all age appropriate, normal stuff. Just wanted to vent. Thanx for reading.

As soon as you figure it out....let me know!! The same thing happened to my DS shortly after he turned 2. It's all been quite shocking to us LOL Our two girls have never been a moments trouble.
So, if you figure out how to fix it, be sure to post and let me know!!!

My little boy is in the same stage. He is a terror to be around sometimes. He has started hitting, biting, throwing toys, temper tantrums.
I normally count to 3 before getting after him, the other day a said 1, 2, and he finished arms crossed, "3, now what" he says.

I know what you're going through. Although, our problems didn't start until the day my DS turned 3. He's completely different now. I'm praying he'll get over it soon. I don't know how much more I can take. It's exhausting!!!!

Same story here with my 2 year old ds. He is a holy terror and gives me chest pains sometimes! He grunts and screams, rolls on the ground, refuses to share, defies us often. It just started happening out of the blue! I'm hoping this is only a phase. Just know that you are not alone - there are many of us going just as crazy as you are! LOL

I have a couple of 2 y/o speech therapy patients who are absolute stinkers! That is definitely my least favorite age to work with. They want to do what they want to do and heaven forbid I try to get them to imitate or use a word to request something. Then it's an all-out tantrum or hiding under the table. I feel your frustration!! I am forever on the floor crawling under tables and pulling kicking kiddos out.

When my son was almost 3, we had this unbelievable 2 week period where I swore he did everything just to pi$$ me off!

Know what? It worked- for 2 weeks. Then I stopped getting mad and just played with him more and showed him more attention. He stopped being so doggonned naughty!

Except for at the store. But that's another thread!
